My husband and I are taking my son to see Star Wars I in 3D. The last time we went to a movie was 3 or 4 years ago when we took him to see Star Wars The Clone Wars. He's the only reason I bring myself to actually go to a movie. If it's up to me I'd rather wait for the DVD and watch it at home. LOL

The last movie I saw in the theater was "My Week With Marilyn". It was a good movie.. I really enjoyed it. Plus, since it is an indie film, we got to see it at the Angelica (which is a fancy movie theater that only plays indie films).

Wow I haven't seen a movie in theaters for years. I can't even remember the last one I saw. I miss going out to see movies. But I typically stay in nowadays and watch netflix. It is just cheaper and I do not get out as much with a 5 month old. If I could watch a movie in theaters it would probably have to be "The Women in Black". That one looks great. Another one I wanna see is The Vow. I will just probably have to wait until they are out on DVD.

I went to see the new Mission Impossible film at the IMAX - it was actually really good! I went with my husband and brother and was fully expecting to be bored, but I would thoroughly recommend it.

I saw The Woman in Black last night and I did enjoy it. It is a classic ghost story and had some scary moments and good performances. I was disappointed with the ending though.

I was actually wondering if that was any good. I love watching movies at IMAX theaters! The first movie I saw on IMAX was Lord of the Rings needless to say it was awesome!

I've never been to an IMAX cinema but would love to go. Maybe I'll go and see one of the big summer releases in one this year.

It's definitely worth seeing something good at the IMAX - if only because of the cost!! It's really expensive here in the UK.

magickat - I'm seeing The Woman in Black on the stage this week in London, can't wait!

becky - The play is brilliant, very atmospheric and cleverly staged. Let me know what you thought when you have been.

I watched Chronicle last night and really enjoyed it. I had seen the trailers several times and thought it looked good and I wasn't disappointed. It has some funny moments and lots of action and worked very well as a "hand held" camera movie.

I went and watch Chronicle as well, it was one amazing movie. It kept all of our attention, it was exciting, funny and it had a whole lot of action in the movie. My husband wants to watch it again, he loved it!

We really enjoyed it! It made you jump in places, but wasn't too scary (which was good, I'm such a wuss). I was amazed that there were only two main actors! They did a really good job in taking you right there.

V/H/S... don't waste your money. It's an anthology style film with 5 stories of "found footage" type horror, each done by different directors. There was a lot of hype leading up to it's release, but it didn't live up to any of it. The acting is awful and negates any sense of realism they are trying to establish with the cam footage effect. Also, people have been using digital camcorders for like 15 years now, nobody shoots on VHS any more. Ironically, the video effects are more of what you would see from something taped on a mini DV tape, not a VHS tape. The stories are silly and seem like they were written by a horny 14 year old boy. There is all kinds of unnecessary T&A in the film too, which seemed pretty tasteless considering how young the actors were in it. I'm no prude by any means, but even I was rolling my eyes at it.

I haven't been to a theater and paid full price in such a long time. The last movie I saw was "Snow White and the Huntsman" at the local $2 theater. I always go to that theater instead of paying $14 at the one in the mall. It baffles me that people pay that much these days.

I took my son to see the latest Ice Age movie awhile ago. It was actually also his first time seeing a movie in the theater! He did rather well for his first time although he was getting a little tired towards the end.

I still need to see Skyfall, that will definitely be the next movie I see at the cinema.

Funninly enough the last film I saw at the cinema was Skyfall. I really enjoyed it and loved how simple yet thrilling the last bit was. I also liked how there were lots of amazing action scenes but that at its core Skyfall was about Bond and his relationship (mother/son relationship) with M. I also felt that the new additions to the franchise Naomi Harris and Ben Whishaw were impressive.

We finally saw it - what a brilliant film! I'd go as far to say it's the best Bond film I've seen, closely followed by Casino Royale (the Daniel Craig one, not the older versions). I'd quite happily see it again soon, and I can't wait for the next one!! :D
