Russian Blues have a silver blue coat to them, hence the name. they are very tranquil cats and are known to have a very close bond with their human. Plus they get along great with other pets and children. They live about 10 to 15 years and the males are usually larger than the females.

I have a Russian Blue cat, Harley. He is 9 years old. I adopted him when he was 5. He is so easy going and lovable. His nickname is Mr. Lovable because he is always looking for some snuggles. He gets along great with my grand daughter and my other cats. He has his days when he wants to be alone but I think that has more to do with his age then his breed. He had a beautiful coat, it just shines. He is, also, a really big cat weighing close to 20 lbs. I love his to pieces.
