Maine Coons are one of the oldest breeds in North America. They are known for their large bone structure and the long flowing coat. They have a very gentle personality. They weigh between 5 to 25 pounds and often have trouble with feline hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and hip dysplasia, but owners can get their pets screened against this.
