You know this cat by another name!

You probably know this cat as the viral sensation Grumpy Cat but her actual name is Tardar Sauce and she's accidentally famous! I researched her a little bit because I wanted to know more about Tardar, and I found that she and her owner had been interviewed on the Today Show. You can find out about her and see some pictures in the interview below!

I did some research on it a while back because I was curious about the kitty family. The "about me" section is pretty informative. And so many cute pictures!

 

I saw the tumblr dedicated to her but not the website run by the family! Awwww, they're donating a portion of the proceeds to help other pets! That's great, I'll be checking out some of the stuff on there and sneak on over to their merchandise!

 

Yeah, I thought it was awesome that they could be profiting entirely off their adorable cat and how viral the pictures went. Instead, they're actually donating something and making it more worthwhile for people to spread this.

 

Gruuuuuuuuumpy cat! Always making my days on the internet a big, er, brighter? We'll say that. Brighter!

 

Grumpy Cat is a fixture on Pinterest so I see her picture every day when I'm pinning stuff on my cat board. It's weird to see her just acting like a normal cat and being petted because after seeing all the captions on her pictures, I see her as almost a cartoon character. A sarcastic, surly cartoon character.
I wonder where Grumpy/Tard got that constantly sourpuss face. Do her parents have grumpy faces? Was there a litter of grumpy kittens or was she the only that came out with that downturned mouth and look of disapproval?
I guess we'll never know.

 

Grumpy cat is definitely famous now. I've never seen that video (and will watch it later when I can have sound on).
I didn't know about the site either. I've seen Pinterest pagers, Tumblr pages, etc. but not the site.

 

I just found Grumpy in a latte, haha. Poor Grumpy.

Lol! I love that cake. Grumpy Cat may hate it, but I think it's awesome that they made it look that close to the real thing. Everybody knows immediately what it's supposed to be.

And by "everybody," I mean, anybody on the internet. People offline or disconnected probably think that thing is really ugly, ha!

 

I find this funny because I'm not a Kristen Stewart fan and I think she looks depressed all the time.

Aww, Grumpy. I love The Walking Dead too, though it's still weird to me that Sheriff Rick's real life voice is higher pitched and British.

 

I love grumpy cat! I found it a little strange that they started saying their cat's name was "Tardar Sauce" when it was Tard the whole time. I think it's funny that they made it PC once grumpy cat started making it big. Oh, well. They are donating profits to charity, so they win in my book!
