Not sure, if this has been discussed yet. I just ran across an article about this service, acupuncture, being offered by a veterinarian from Las Vegas. It seems for $199 your cat can receive 3 treatments.

I am not sold on the idea, but maybe someone here could shed more light on the subject. Would you consider doing this to help relax your cat?

Still, not sure I would want to invest $199, just to find out if acupuncture helps relax my cats. I think,a little gentle petting,a nice easy tone of voice, along with a cat treat relaxes them just fine.

But, hmm, maybe this would help my two cats to have a better feeling towards going to the veterinarian because right now this stresses them out!

Not sure, I don't think my Bob could stay still for very long. Plus it sounds so expensive :O I have heard about this before, people who are using that new technique that involves needles and electricity :) But I thought it looked so scary, not sure my boy would even let someone place those needles on him.

I know that my cats would never stand to have this done. I would never even do acupuncture myself because I don't
like needles so I could never do it to my babies. The money wouldn't bother me so much but if it isn't a guarantee fix
then why put your poor animal through that.
