Taste of the Wild Cat Food

    After our cat was diagnosed with diabetes and we did the insulin for about a year, our vet suggested that we try grain-free food because it's been shown to make a big difference in some cats with the disease. She suggested Taste of the Wild and it's been doing great for us. Luckily the cat loves it... I wasn't sure because of the ingredients like venison, but she's never had any problem with it.

    That's the dry food. We get it at the Tractor Supply store. Now, I've read reviews for the Taste of the Wild wet food and it seems that since they changed the formula, a lot of cats no longer like it, so I won't be trying the wet.

    It costs more than other dry food, but a reversal or remission in the diabetes is certainly worth the cost.
