    The squirrel being treated by the mother cat as one of the kittens is just precious. It's amazing that the squirrel has learned to purr when petted. At least he has a forever home, since the cat owners are planning to keep him as a pet because a squirrel -cat can't live in the wild. Thank you for sharing the video.

    That is the first time in a long time that I have said "awww" out loud when viewing something like this. I'm sort of numb to the cuteness of some things around here. This was seriously awesome, though. I used to have squirrels that I raised and released, so I guess I have a soft spot for them anyway. Too cute that it actually purrs!!!

    Aww that was adorable! I'm always amazed at how well mother animals take in other babies that aren't even of the same species. Now if only people were as accepting and loving as animals are the world would be a heck of a better place!

    I've watched this video entirely too many times now, I always end up squeeing my head off when the purring squirrel part comes on. It's so damned cute!

    The cutest video I have ever seen in a long while. I love the way it purrs! That is too precious and kudos to the momma cat for being so generous with her loving. I'm so happy this story has a happy ending.
