    Hello everyone,

My Persian cat seems to have developed some kind of infection under her eyes.
I do clean her eyes everyday with something called Pretty Eyes and it was working so far for the most part. Now it keeps getting worse. My vet tells me she has malassezia and prescribed me some eye tissues that are not doing anything.
I imagine this is quite common. Any suggestions anyone? Perhaps something natural?
    Thanks!

Persian cats, due to their flat faces and short tear ducts, are prone to tear stains and infections around their eyes. This is because their tears don't drain properly, creating a moist environment around their eyes that's perfect for bacteria and other microbes to grow.
Here are some things you can do to help prevent under eye infections in your Persian cat:

Keep the fur around their eyes clean and free of tear stains. You can use a damp washcloth with warm water to gently wipe away any discharge.
Use a hypoallergenic cat litter to reduce the risk of allergies.
Take your cat to the vet for regular checkups.
With proper care, you can help keep your Persian cat's eyes healthy and free from infection.
