Do all mother cats do this? She is now rejecting her kittens with flying cat fists and claws when never they come up to her ( they are kinda grown up now probably almost teenager in human years). I think she might be pregnant again probably the reason why she's acting strange lately. I'm sad for the kittens i always thought they would always be one big happy family...:(

Oh no!!!! What are you going to do if she is indeed pregnant? It does sound like she is a bit hormonal to me, but I guess we will not know for sure until a few more months pass by. I am so sorry Erik, but at least your kitties are more independent. They will get over this, don't worry.

Im still resisting the temptation to keep the new kitties yet to be born...:p the mother still drops by from time to time but I don't let her stay for too long... Every time she does the kitties greet her and she greets them back with cat fists! So sad. I hope the kitties stay bonded with each other when they grow old...
