Poor thing though, look at her tail... not much fluff.
That's when she had fleas and then her OCD cleaning kicked in. =/

I found some more pictures of her in weird places:

I will never understand her obsession with sleeping on thin things like doors and bike wheels. Gah!

Omg... I forgot about both of those.
She slept on that bike/bike tire very frequently.

    I just don't get it!

I mean, I know she would want to put her scent on anything new. Fine. But how is it comfortable to have to balance on a strip of almost-nothingness? And even if it's comfy to balance on it, bike tires aren't exactly smooth....they're rough and pointy with treads and rubber sticking out. That doesn't exactly scream "hmm, I want to sleep here!"

Loved the kitty on the bike wheel! So cute! I wish my cats slept in funny places. The weirdest and whackiest place they sleep in is the bathroom lol I*sigh* Is is horrible that I want quirkier cats?

I know right! I have no idea... and those positions! She rolled off my lap last night while sleeping cockeyed and bent and weird... I caught her luckily.

    Thank you! She really does.

No, not horrible at all! Who wants a boring cat? ;)
It is definitely frustrating sometimes though... Find yourself lucky.

    Nope, not at all!

One of the reasons I love cats is because they're so quirky. I have never had a boring cat before.

Those pictures are all very cute :) The cat in my avatar does the same things. She loves curling up in boxes, paper- or plastic bags and she also sleeps on top of our kitchen door. Once she wakes she doesn't know how to get of and start calling out to us to help her. She's always a very happy little kitty with big, attentive eyes and shaking her tail. It's always wonderful to come home to such a enthusiastic critter :)

Awe, that's adorable. Care to share pictures? :)
Neko's always enthusiastic to see me. It can actually get kind of annoying sometimes.

That is definitely one strange cat you have there, but adorable! She'd better hope that you don't forget she's on top of the door and try to shut it! My cat Bunny sleeps on the arm of the couch the same way your cat sleeps on top of the door, with all four legs sprawled out on either side.

I believe I have some in my photo album, I need to upload the others because I have to link to a URL.
Feel free to have a look in my photo album in the mean time ;-)

We've actually tried to ease the door shut to get her to move... nope, she'll just slip to the side some so her feet don't get caught.
We can't actually shut that door though because of the hanging pieces on the top.
haha Neko does that as well.

It is very possible that your cat is the re-incarnation of an ancient yogi. You know, the type that sleeps on beds of nails. Either that or your cat has a great sense of balance and what looks like a precarious perch to you and me is perfectly solid ground to it. Kind of like those people walking across the Niagara Falls on a thin wire.

Your cat is really pretty and it's funny how she can sleep anywhere.
The shot of her atop the door is especially impressive.
Thank you for sharing the pictures. She's adorable.

Oh my, how adorable is that picture of Neko! I have to say that of all the places our baby has found to sleep over the years, she's never tried the top of a door. I hope she won't get the idea to try it or I'd be one nervous kitty-mom seeing her up there like that... maybe when she'd be awake it wouldn't be so bad, but sleeping would be nerve wracking... for ME!

Neko has definitely scared me a few times while being up there. She doesn't like getting down alone (or know how to very well). She'll just cry until someone takes her down.
If no one does, she pretty much "falls" off and catches herself on the mess shoe rack on the back.
