Make Your Own Environmentally Friendly Cat House

    There is a contest in New York every year where architects design cat houses for downtown strays. The winner this year is an environmentally friendly cat house built from recycled and reclaimed materials- it also has solar panels and a green growing moss roof. There are plans you can use to build your own, too. I think this is a great blend of caring for cats and staying environmentally friendly!
