I have a 4 month old Devon Rex. He is very good to use his box and did not need any thing but show him where it is. HERE is the problem. Although he is great to cover his poo, before he starts covering it he ALWAYS backs up instead of turning around. Ever single time he backs up and gets poo all over his 2 back paws. I have had to wash his feet every time. He hates it and he is now getting large enough to fight me. This is becoming a real problem for me. I am elderly and it is getting hard to control him while I wash him. He is shredding my arms. I was really hoping he would figure out to stop stepping in it EVERY time but he has not. As I said before, he is great to cover it up but that always occurs after he has already stepped in it. Any helpful advise would be so appreciated. Thank You!
