Does your cat knead you? Mine loves to do it, I call it my Bandit Massage because he is so gentle when he does it.

He purrs heavily and gives me a little massage.

Ava likes to knead :) We call it pitter patters haha.
She also likes to wiggl her bum when she is very happy to see you.

Last night my new kitty was kneading my butt! He really likes this super soft blanket my mom gave me and he snuck in my room and started kneading the bed and my butt at the same time. I just felt one little paw pressing my bottom and thought it was so funny.

He does it to my back too, whenever I am laying down, then it's my Bandit Back Massage. Hahaha. They are so silly! Cats really are not shy in telling you what they want!

Cats knead when they're happy because it's the same motion they do on their mother's belly when she's nursing them. It helps the milk to move and so they associate it with being kept fed and happy. It's lovely, until they do it on your bare skin with sharp claws, and then it can get ever so slightly painful..

He does it on my bear chest all the time! I just give him a little warning and he pulls the claws in, some times he even does it with all 4 feet, which seems excessive, but he is one lovable kitty cat!

Our don't do this, but I've had other people's cats do this to me. The one would always climb up on my chest whenever I was sitting on the couch, and start doing this to me while it was staring me straight in the eyes. When I would try to lift her off of me she would sink her claws into me and wouldn't let go. As Eversprinkles mentioned, it's not a pleasant experience.
