kitten keeps pooing on the floor instead of litter tray

    my kitten keeps pooing on the floor instead of the litter tray. he did poo in the litter tray but recently started pooing on the floor in the same spot?

    any ideas what i can do to stop this. we keep picking him up and showing him his litter location. :idea:

    Is your litter box clean? This could be the problem. Making sure it is clean is crucial. Also when he does poo, how do you show him his litter box? I would set him in it. Maybe he is not liking the litter either. Trying another kind of litter may help.
