    It's sаid in а lеttеr in this wееk's Nеw Sсiеntist.Thеy саn't mаnаgе аbоvе 13,000 fееt, аt lеаst in Lаtin аmеriса.
    It аlsо sееms thеy wеrе intrоduсеd by еurоpеаn sеttlеrs, sо pоssibly in аsiа thеrе аrе brееds thаt hаvе аdаptеd.

    That's an interesting fact. It would be nice if you could cite the sources of this fact. But I have seen some people bring their cat to the mountain for the hiking session. But it is not high altitude, so the cat will be the cat, like curious and it will stimulate their danger senses. Hiking with a cat within a small mountain is just fine, but within high mountain and altitude really interest me.

    In term of reacting badly, what kind of reaction that cats will show? Their superior senses will turn down or they might turn into snail-kitty? Like, cannot move at all? I tried to Google some answer and could not find it.
