I’ve been seeing a lot of dry cat foods marketed as high-protein and suitable for all life stages, but I’m a bit confused.

Is high-protein dry cat food actually safe for kittens, adult cats, and seniors, or does protein requirement change with age? I’ve read mixed opinions—some say cats are obligate carnivores and need more protein, while others warn it could be too heavy for older cats or those with kidney issues.

Would love to hear real experiences from cat parents or vets here. Did you notice any positive or negative changes after feeding high-protein dry food long-term?
