Introducing a new cat

    I have an 8 month old cat named Gus who gets quite lonely when I leave for work. I was thinking of adding a friend for him to play with. Do you think that I should get a male or female for him? Also what age do I get a new kitten. I do not want them to hate eachother like I have heard horror stories about.

    You can have a kitten or a cat with the same age as your cat. It's up to how you raise and treat your cats for them to have their own traits or personality.
