How many cat videos are there on youtube?

I just played freekibblecat today as a part of my daily pc routine, donating 10 pieces of kibble to animal shelters, and there was a fun trivia questions about the amount of cat videos on youtube. I was pleasantly surprised by the huge number or cat videos! Which is over 1,620,000!
This marks the cat video section as possibly (one of) the most popular categories on youtube

I saw this one a tv-show the other day. It's said to be one of the most popular cat videos at the time being. I hadn't seen it just yet, but it's kind of cute.

 

That is so cute! I'm not surprised by the number of cat videos on YouTube, they do a lot of crazy stuff which makes for great viewing!!

 

Haha! So true, Becky! They're so entertaining and who doesn't love a cute kitty video? Yolanda what site are you on that donates kibble to shelters? That's amazing! I used to use a search engine that would donate money to my local no-kill cat shelter. It was great, but if there are other ways I can donate with my time online. I'll do it! Maybe start up a new thread?

 

Why one of the most. It is the most popular thing on the internet from lolcats to cute cats everything is about cats on the internet XD. And why shouldn't it be cats are awesome

 

I would have expected the number to be higher, but you can never have too many cute kitty videos

Slightly off-topic.

How come there are so many lolcat pictures and so very few loldog picture? Are cats smarter than dogs?

 

That video was really cute, sweet and makes me think of the kitty begging for food or praying. I love the video, thanks for sharing. I bet they are a whole lot of videos about cats on there.
