Seriously. I have no idea how Dorian balanced like that.. that part of the stove is slanted! He seriously stood there for ten minutes.

Anyone else have pictures of cats in places you didn't actually expect?

That's so cute! Mine's tried to do that a few times, but he much prefers to get IN the fridge while we're looking for food. He's cute, but ridiculous.

My kitty got stuck in the fridge once too! We were looking all over for him and heard his muffled little cries. He was so cold when we found him. He was probably in there for 4 minutes. That poor little baby. He stays out of the fridge now!

I think the pads under their paws help the cats to stand even on slanted surfaces. Talking about slanted surfaces, the strangest case I have met was that of a tabby that gave birth to her kits up on the roof right under the eaves of an overlapping roof. I really can't understand why she thinks that the roof is a safe place for her kits.

She may have felt like it was safer than them being on the ground where they could be trampled, snatched up by other wild animals, etc. Mama kitties move their kittens several times after birth, so I'm sure that was just one of many places she would eventually keep the kittens.
