It seems that LuLu my longed haired Maine Coon is always getting tangles in her fur. I brush her a lot but still she gets all matted. I do not know what to do with her. I am thinking that I may just need to shave her and then start fresh but yet at the same time do not want to do that. Any help for me, please?

Shave her carefully, as long as it's harmless.

Don't shave her. Step away from the scissors and blades. And whatever you do, do not bathe her. It'll just make it worse. Try using detangling spray and comb her regularly. If not then shave but step away from scissors as it is easy to cut skin
