    I especially love them snapping their fingers like they're in West Side Story or something.

    My son and I are having too much fun watching the others, too.

    Aw that black cat looks like my cat Kashi. We had her for 15 years and had to put her down last month because she was run over. :( Sorry to be a downer, but thanks for sharing the video!

    Oh, boy, if cats were to have thumbs, they would take over the whole world. As it is, cats already own most human beings.

    I feel so sad that it had to end like that. The other alternative is to just put her into a box and sit there waiting for her to go in her own time. Of course, that would make the going at least twice as hard on you.

    I actually have a friend whose cat has 'thumbs', but thankfully they are not opposable ;)

    Really sorry to hear about your cat being run over Steph :(

    Have you seen cats with six toes? On every paw? I have a friend who has a family of cats which had six toes on every paw. Every cat had the same unique physical feature - Papa Cat, Mama Cat and all the Baby Cats.

    My cats can already open drawers and cupboards so I dread to think what they would get up to with thumbs :)

    I used to have a tabby that was very adept at opening the food cover on the dining table. She couldn't lift it up, of course. So what she did was to push it off the table. Made a mess every time she did that.

    I have a cat that opens doors as well if they aren't locked. It can be a real pain in the you-know-what, LOL!
    Very cute and funny vid, though. Steph, sorry about your loss. It brings back both positive and painful memories when we see cats that look like cats we once shared our lives with. I can relate to that.

    Actually it's good thing that cats do not have opposing thumbs. As it is they are already smart enough.

    Oh my gosh! Thanks for sharing. I've seen pictures and gifs of the cat filing its nails and I never knew what it was from... haha that was great.
