Cats are suppose to hunt for their food. At least they do in the wild. Why not bring the wild into your home for your cats and hide food around the house for them. I do this with Candycorn, Hallyween and Jackolantern all the time. It keeps them in shape and they love to do it. I just hide some soft treats or even some of their dry food around and when they find it they are in heaven.

This is a great way for cats to learn how to hunt. I have not tried it yet with my two persians but I plan on doing it now. I guess you just have to remember where you hide it all so if your cats do not find it you can sweep it up.
