I usually feed my cat dry food. I have always heard that it is healthier for them.
He gets wet food sometimes as well, we usually give him wet food on special days like Thanksgiving or Christmas.
I read an article recently that said wet food is healthier for cats. The article said it is because cats get dehydrated easily and wet food provides them with all the water that they need.
What do you all feed your cats?

Wet food is something I feed my cat as a treat, because I know how fatty it is. I tried to give my cat wet food more than 4 times a week and he started gaining weight, because he ended eating more than he usually would (he loves wet food). I had to put him on a diet, feeding him only dry food everyday. Hence I sometimes feed him wet food as a treat ;) I do t every once in a while.

Yep--it really is good to incorporate both into a kitty's diet for moisture purposes. Kitties can poop blood on occasion when fed too much dry food. Best to strike a balance. I know I wouldn't want to live my life eating one food and one consistency every single day... :p

My cats get both. They like the variety.
