So my kittens, (male and female) are not so kittens anymore... and im worried that their hormones would kick in anytime soon... they only stay at home and dont meet other cats. Will they be mating with each other and should i have one of them spayed to prevent this?

I would have one spayed and the other neutered regardless as if they did escape from your house, there would be a risk of them breeding with a neighborhood cat. I have no idea of whether or not cats would breed with their siblings though!

Sibling cats will mate with each other. Letting them mate is a very bad idea. Inbreeding causes numerous birth defects and deformities. If you have a brother and sister in the same household, you need to get them neutered/spayed. Cats, as well as dogs, do not recognize that they are siblings.

Neuter one of them, they will mate if they have the chance. I've seen that happen with cats growing in farms, a lot inbreed cats... not a good idea at all! I really recommend you to neuter the female one, just in case she sneaks out one day, that way you make sure that if that happens... she won't come back pregnant.

@erik Lol, yes, I have seen that and it can't be pretty D: I think spaying the female is the best option too, because if she gets pregnant... you will have a new bunch of new kittens! I have heard cats can have a new litter after a few months! 4 if I am not mistaken?

I am sure your male kitty wouldn't mind. They don't think the same way as men do. lol But yes it is a good idea to get the female spayed just incase she gets out and mates with another
    cat.

Not only having both sexes 'fixed', it also helps with their health in the long term. Cats can usually be fixed as early as 5 months. Mr. Rosco is getting fixed next month. Gemma has already been fixed. Getting your cats fixed also will prevent them from going into heat, yeowing, and spraying! Something you may want to consider more than how he's going to miss his little nuts.

Don't put it off too long. You don't want to be having more kittens to take care of.
