Its funny when you are in a financial situation your realize how expensive pet food can be. Right now we are going through a whole lot of financial difficulties in my household. Yet, there are our five cats who need to be fed. Can't tell them they can't have their can cat food they will look at us odd. Can't tell them they can't have their Deli Cat or Friskies dry cat food again they will look at us funny.

Don't get me wrong we are scaping up the money to buy them their food because we love them very much and they are like family. But right now I am seeing how expensive cat food can be especially with what my cats expect food wise.

I heard ya! Cat food is indeed expensive! I'm having a lot financial issues right now, so cat food is something that has a high priority in my list, but also was a source of stress. I'm lucky my Bob is understanding tho, I had a hard time buying him cheaper food at first, but after a while he started eating it well.

Actually I let my cats to eat the food what I eat or buy some fish, rarely give them cat food, I think there is enough nutrition.

If the cat stops eating the cat food for a long duration, you know there is a reason behind it. He could have a toothache or something.
It may be a simple stomach ache that will clear right away and he'll be again following a daily normal diet.
On the other hand it is a decent thought to look for anything unheard of like this, so you can get counsel from your vet as quickly as possible.

It was not terribly expensive but it wasn't cheap either. I always said I hoped never never to have to choose between feeding him or me or any of my pets for that matter. Even though it was not terribly expensive, it adds up.

Neatly i would be careful on some DRY catfoods as a result of some have corn in it, and thats now not healthy for cats or canine. my cat has lived on friskies. However the dry cat food led to her to have a urinary innfection. But we let her be an inside of/outdoor cat. She eats birds, lizards, bugs and she's perfectly nice now.

Although it's a good idea to let the cat be an inside of/outdoor cat. But it's difficult for my living city. It will be easier for them to eat neighbor's unlocked foods, and then get beat up.
