    Here's a picture of my cat Casey, from his last grooming appointment!!

    I love how they put a comically large bow on him - but it's so adorable!

    Thanks so much! It's funny because when we got him from the rescue center, they said all black cats are very hard to rehome because people still think they are bad luck - I guess there's just that ongoing misconception.

    He's been a great addition to our family and certainly not unlucky at all!

    I love black cats, they are so beautiful. I never would reject a cat based on its color, especially if black! How well the does your cat like the grooming appointments? I don't think my cats would be willing to participate at all!

    He's actually not too bad - the grooming place we take him to writes a little report card with the picture each time he attends! They put his weight and whether there has been a change up or down, and they also write about what they did for his grooming. They always write "he was a very good boy" so I guess he does okay! Or maybe they are just being polite!!
