I live in the city so both of my cats are strictly indoor cats.
I could never let them out for fear of what might happen to
them. Neither of them mind being inside. They like to sit
in the window and watch the birds but they never look to
    go out.

Growing up our cats always went outside but I can remember
many times having cats get hit by cats or attack by other
animals. Some of them just disappeared and never came back.

I couldn't do it now I would worry too much unless I have them
where they couldn't leave the yard or something. Then I may
    be okay.

Bob started his life as a stray, so he was used to being an outdoors cat. I let him keep that lifestyle even after adopting him, but then many cats started dying... before that my dad had told me one of the neighbors had told him he was poisoning all those cats so they didn't mess with his garden. I took my bob inside asap! He's been an indoors cat ever since.

My cats are outside cats. We had major issues in the past where they would destroy everything and no matter what we did, we couldn't calm them down enough for inside cats. My boyfriend has two cats and one is both, and the other is an inside cat.

Wow... Were your cats spayed? Sometimes when they get crazy like that it can be linked to the crazy hormones. Spayed cats are much more calmer. I can imagine a cat must be really moody in order to end up destroying things around the house. I'm glad you found the solution to your problem though :)

Mine is mainly an outdoor cat. I live in an airy place and like to let her out to go get some sun. If I lived in an apartment I would have no choice but to keep her inside.

Mine stays indoors most of the time but she also spends time each day prowling our yard. I often see her walking across the top of our fence, throw our kitchen window.

I wish I could do that, @tajnz I'd love to let my Bob out to play, but if I did there is a big chance I'd never see him again, because I'm sure he'd head to the garden of that one neighbor who poisons cats.
