My cat has been shedding non stop lately! I have been brushing her every other day, and her diet hasn't changed. She seems healthy otherwise. She is only about 3 or 4 years old. What methods can you suggest to help her stop all of this shedding! I feel as though I am vacuuming and using the lint roller every single day!

    I wish I could help you, but I can't.

Mine seems to start shedding even more every Spring and Fall. You would think the shedding would be less during the Fall when they should start bulking up on hair to be warmer.... but for whatever reason, they shed even more anyway.

All I can do is clean it up and hope it gets back to normal.

i Vacuum my cat! Ha! He won't let me brush him, so I vacuum him which he loves.

You can buy a de-shedding tool called the "Furminator" which apparently reduces shedding by 90%

He lets you vacuum him instead? Lol!

I have tried vacuuming mine but she hates it. Instead, we sometimes use tape (like packing tape) and pat her all over quickly. It at least picks up a bunch of the loose hair that's already on her and she doesn't seem to mind usually.

Hahahahahahaha that's utterly brilliant! If I tried to do that to Zod, he'd run off and freak out on an epic scale!

    Lmao!!

He absolutely loves it. It's not even just that he tolerates you cleaning him up. He came over to it and went belly up for it, lol.

Did you read my review on the Furminator? Get yourself a de-shedding tool so you have less hair to pick off of your furniture and your clothes. Also add more fish oils to your cat's diet to make sure they have a healthy coat.
