That is so cool! I love how they do that to hide from danger. So cute. Now I'm on an owl kick checking out all of those related vids. Thanks Jessi!

Well, I have never seen an owl doing that either. Come to think of it, I haven't really seen any owl in a very long time. However I have seen that happening often enough to chicken. After a heavy rain.

Water would also make a cat look much smaller, too.

Many animals fluff up their plumage or their fur to look much bigger than they actually are. Sounds kind of like some people, too.

Wow!! I was wondering how exactly an owl was going to "shrink" but that's just crazy to watch! It also sort of makes me think that owls aren't exactly the toughest birds around since they shrink and hide when they get scared instead puffing up and trying to act tough.

They puff up too, check out 0:43 in this video:

The expression on his face while he's staring down the other owl is hilarous!

That's amazing! It seemed like it was trying to look like a hawk when confronted by the bigger bird.

I totally love owls, but it seems this video was removed due copyright issues :( It makes me feel kinda sad everytime I try to watch something and it turns out someone already removed or reported the video, maybe the next time! Meanwhile, just check this funny video I found:

That chicken really knows how to drink!!!
