Cartoon cats

Who are your favourite cartoon cats? I have always loved Garfield and more recently find a series of animations called Simon's Cat hilarious - look him up on Youtube

 

I would have to agree with you and say that my favorite cartoon cat would have to be Garfield. I have always loved him and thought the movie that was made recently with real people was really great.

 

Garfield for the win! He's not just an orange ball of fur. He's the feline equivalent of Mr. Bean. I look forward to seeing more of Garfield on the silver screen. I really wonder why they don't make a new film about him every year.

 

Tom, from Tom & Jerry is my favorite cartoon cat! He is so funny, and he is always trying to catch Jerry anyway he can. I love Tom, it is awesome!

 

Tom and Jerry cartoons are great and really remind me of my childhood. I also enjoyed watching Sylvester and Tweety and a bit later on Top Cat. My friend's dad had Top Cat painted on the front of his car!

 

I loved Felix the Cat and Garfield.

 

I had forgotten about Felix, he is one of the very first cartoon cats. He is so cute and has remained popular for many, many years.

 

Simon's Cat is my favourite I do like Garfield too though

 

I really don't have a favorite cartoon cat, but love all the cats in the Broadway musical "Cats". Sarah Brightman sings about "Mistoffeles" -- he sounds like a neat cat! Also if we count the big cats I like Nala and Simba from Lion King!

 

I'll second that - I love Cats the musical! When I was younger I really liked the original poems by TS Eliot (still do in fact). My favourite was Skimbleshanks the Railway Cat

 

And remember Piewackett in Bell, Book and Candle?

 

I used to watch Garfield when I was a little girl, but I always preferred Felix the cat because he seemed to be involved in far more interesting and exciting adventures than Garfield. Garfield was kinda boring if you ask me.
