    Dear forum members,
I bought a previously owned approx one year old male english blue cat for a friend. She loves him to bits, however, he has some traits that we are trying to understand. When he approaches, if you reach to stroke him, he turns and presents his rear to you. If you do get to stroke his head, he will be quite happy but then suddenly attack quite viciously. He also has been nipping at my friends ankles, is this for food or attention? and sometimes he meows quite softly. he seems to have settled in and to be quite content other than this. Can anybody help?. Thank Johnnyboy
